IMD & IML is that printed film is played in the injection mold, and then injected together.
Injection resin behind the film combines with the ink layer.
The pattern & logo of the panel are placed between the film and injection product, and they can not be damaged easily under friction. The shape and size can remain stable, more convenient to
assemble, and durable.

IN MOULD LABELING (IML)
We develop fast, robust and precise side-entry robots. The robots load labels directly into the molding tools, at the same time as the finished products are removed with complete control over their position and orientation.
PHOTO QUALITY LABELING
In-mold labeling uses robots to load labels directly into the injection molding tool. The label becomes an integral part of the product. Current technology allows for photo quality and is quickly becoming popular.
The products are often packaging materials for the food industry, but may also be other types of packaging.
Production runs at high speed, often using multi-cavity systems. With a cycle time of a few seconds, many labels are loaded, with the same number of finished products being removed simultaneously.
LABELS IN THE RIGHT PLACES
For perfect positioning of label on the product, high precision and stability are required of everything: the label magazine, label-picking, shape of the labels and correct geometry.
The IML process is our speciality. We pay particular attention to the design of the loading tools, or "dummies". We make sure that the robot - the foundation of the automation process - is a model of reliability. The label needs to be placed perfectly every time.
QUALITY CONTROL
Checking label placement, readability and over-molding of the label is necessary for maintaining consistent, impeccable quality. That's why we deliver in-line vision systems for high-speed production, in close collaboration with Mevisco™, German experts in industrial automated optical inspection.
HANDLING
In addition to IML technology's proprietary side-entry robots, we also offer other equipment for handling applications for rapid injection molding. These kinds of solutions can be based on stable top-entry robots from Yushin Automation, the SuperStacker stacking module or other equipment for stacking and packing products with stability and precision.
